Penn State Behrend hosted their 21st Erie Conference, bringing together local leaders, organizations, and innovators with the shared goal of increasing Erie’s bottom line.
This conference hosted several keynote speakers, including leaders from Infinite Erie, the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership.

According to research done by the Black School of Business, while Erie’s economy is stable, it is not keeping up with other cities across the commonwealth.
“We all are in this together to help make the community improved so that the quality of life gets better for everybody and so conferences and events like this make us all aware of the issues and how we need to work together in order to promote that common vision of long-term prosperity,” said Dr. Kenneth Louie, director of the Economic Research Institute of Erie.
At this conference, guests networked and shared their goals in an effort to improve their impact on the local economy.
