SCRANTON, PA — Kaeli Marie Romanowski of Lake Ariel was among 65 distinguished members of The University of Scranton’s undergraduate Class of 2026 whose academic excellence, leadership and service were honored at a recent Class Night ceremony.
Romanowski received the Edward J. Spitzer Scholarship Award. She is a graduate of Western Wayne High School, Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, and majored in Finance with a minor in Business Leadership. She was a member of the University’s Business Leadership Honors Program and the Omicron Delta Epsilon, the Omega Beta Sigma and the Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies. Kaeli was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), The Portfolio of Responsible Investments under Student Management (PRISM) and the Division III national runner-up women’s basketball team. She was also the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 and 2026. This fall, she will return to The University of Scranton to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance.
Thousands attended this year’s undergraduate commencement ceremony at Mohegan Arena, where more than 900 bachelor’s degrees were awarded to graduates representing 61 distinct majors. The University also conferred 450-plus master’s and doctoral degrees.
