(WHTM)– A man is facing charges after law enforcement seized thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs and more than 10 firearms from a Pennsylvania residence.
According to the Berks County District Attorney’s Office, the Berks County Drug Task Force, alongside the Reading Police Vice Unit, the DEA, and the Exeter Township Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence at 75 Overlook Drive in Exeter Township on July 22.
Four pounds of marijuana, six grams of cocaine, totaling $16,800, were seized at the residence, along with six rifles and nine handguns, ammunition, and drug packaging-related paraphernalia, the DA’s office said.

The DA’s office said that Adalberto Acevedo Jr., 39, of Exeter, was arrested and charged in connection with the operation. He was transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s Office Central Processing Center and arraigned.
Acevedo’s bail was set at $250,000. The DA’s office said he was charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Persons Not to Possess, Use, Manufacture, Control, Sell or Transfer Firearms.
“The seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs and fifteen firearms from a convicted felon demonstrates the outstanding work being performed every day by the Berks County Drug Task Force and our law enforcement partners. Drug traffickers often arm themselves to protect their criminal enterprises, creating an increased danger to our communities. Today’s enforcement action removed dangerous narcotics, illegal firearms, and the profits of drug trafficking from our streets,” District Attorney John Adams said.
