One person killed in shooting in Pittsburgh’s Hill District neighborhood
Officers were called to Bedford Avenue around 3 a.m. Friday
PITTSBURGH —
The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is investigating a deadly shooting that happened in the city’s Hill District early Friday morning.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Bedford Avenue around 3 a.m.
According to police, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his back.
First responders immediately rendered aid until paramedics arrived, and he was transported to a nearby hospital.
Officials say the victim was in critical condition when he arrived at the hospital and later died.
Officials have not said whether a suspect is in custody.
