SEPTA To Replace Norristown High Speed Line Trains With Shuttle Buses Aug. 1-Dec. 19

SEPTA has announced that it will replace train service with shuttle buses on parts of the Norristown High Speed Line for 20 weeks due to major rehabilitation and structural work on the M’s Bridgeport Viaduct. 

The following plan will be in effect during this service outage:

Aug. 1–Aug. 21: Bus service will be provided between Norristown Transit Center and Bridgeport Station. Train service will operate as normal between Bridgeport Station an the 69th Street Transit Center.Aug. 15–Aug. 23: Shuttle buses will operate on the Regional Rail Manayunk/Norristown Line. Bus service will replace trains from the Norristown–Elm Street Station to the Norristown Transit Center. Train service will operate as normal between Bridgeport Station and the 69th Street Transit Center.Aug. 22–Aug. 30: Bus service will run between the Norristown Transit Center and Gulph Mills Station. Train service will operate as normal between Gulph Mills Station and the 69th Street Transit Center.Aug. 31–Dec. 19: Bus service is provided between the Norristown Transit Center and the Bridgeport Station. Train service will operate as normal between the Bridgeport Station and the 69th Street Transit Center.Schedules
