MAIDENCREEK TWP., Pa. – A 69-year-old man from Albany Township is dead after a lawn mower accident, according to the Berks County coroner.
The coroner identified the man as Jeffrey Brobst.
Officials say Brobst was operating a lawn mower, cutting the grass at a property in Maidencreek Township on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. when the mower went over a retaining wall.
Brobst was transported to Reading Hospital and was pronounced dead at 2:46 p.m., the coroner says.
The cause of the death has been determined as head injuries, and the manner was ruled as accidental, according to the coroner.
