ALLEN TOWNSHIP, NORTHAMPTON CO. (WOLF) — A 27-year-old Allen Township man died after being shot Friday afternoon, and his death has been ruled a homicide, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
The victim was identified as Shakair T. Moncrieffe, 27, of Allen Township.
According to the coroner’s office, the shooting happened at approximately 1:48 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Old Gate Road in Allen Township, Northampton County.
Moncrieffe was taken from the scene to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, where he was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m.
An autopsy conducted at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center determined Moncrieffe died from multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death was ruled homicide.
The Pennsylvania State Police Bethlehem Station, the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate the shooting.
Authorities have not released additional information about a suspect or any arrests.
