BERKS CO., Pa. – The Berks County Coroner’s Office has identified the two individuals who died following a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 176 Southbound in Robeson Township Friday morning.
The three-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 6:05 a.m. on I-176 near the Kurtz Mill Road overpass. During the collision, one of the vehicles left the roadway and came to rest alongside a creek off of Kurtz Mill Road.
The Berks County Coroner’s Office pronounced two adult men dead at the scene.
18-year-old Jose A. Cuevas Sosa, and 20-year-old Jose E. Uribe Duarte, both from the 500 block of Minor Street, Reading, were killed in the accident.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday morning at Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Reading Station, is conducting the investigation into the cause and circumstances of the crash.
