HONESDALE — Dimeco Inc., the holding company of The Dime Bank, reported total assets of $1.2 billion on June 30, an increase of $81.3 million, or 7.3%, from the second quarter of 2025, bank officials said.
Total loans of $873.6 million represent an increase of $89.8 million, or 11.4%, over last year, officials said. Additionally, total deposits of $1 billion account for an increase of $56.4 million, or 5.9%, over the previous year.
Net income was $10 million for the first six months of the year — an increase of $2.1 million, or 27.4%, over the same time last year, bank officials said.
Dimeco declared dividends of 90 cents per share for the first half of 2026, a 7.1% increase over the same period in 2025, officials added.
Earnings of $3.92 per share represented a 26.9% increase over last year, while the market value of Dimeco stock increased 51.8% to $55.51 as of June 30, bank officials said.
