Two dead after shooting in Clairton, police searching for suspects
Allegheny County police investigating shooting outside Village Inn on Miller Avenue
CLAIRTON, Pa. —
Two men are dead after a shooting in Clairton on Saturday evening, the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit said.
County 911 was notified of a shooting in the 800 block of Miller Avenue at about 6:35 p.m., police said. First responders found two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The medical examiner’s office identified one of the men shot and killed as 32-year-old Robert Allen Jones. The name of the other victim has not been officially released yet.

This all happened outside the Village Inn on Miller Avenue. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 saw a dozen evidence markers and various items all over the ground.
“Grew up together as brothers. They were just family. There’s no reason it should have happened to them,” said Keatha Johnson, who works as a cook at the Village Inn and knew both victims.
Detectives say their preliminary information shows that the suspects fled the area in a vehicle. No descriptions were immediately available.
