The NEPA Aging Network Alliance has contributed to United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne & Pike’s Gift of Warmth Program, helping local families stay safe and warm during the cold winter months. The Gift of Warmth Program provides critical assistance to individuals and families struggling with heating costs, ensuring vulnerable community members — including seniors and those facing financial hardship — have access to safe, reliable warmth. United Way officials expressed gratitude for the partnership and generosity of NANA, noting that community support makes it possible to deliver essential resources to neighbors in need. NANA is a regional coalition of aging-services professionals and organizations in Northeast Pennsylvania. It focuses on networking, education, advocacy and joint projects that support older adults, primarily in Lackawanna County and the surrounding NEPA region.
