An outage is impacting customers in the City of Erie around West 10th Street, extending from Cascade Street eastward to the West Bayfront Parkway near Greengarden Boulevard.
Utility officials said a crew has also arrived in that area and is investigating the exact cause of the disruption. According to the FirstEnergy Outage Map the cause is due to scheduled maintenance.
Within the area 543 customers are without power at this time.
Power restoration for the Erie outage is expected by 5 p.m.
The utility company stated crews will restore service if possible or request additional assistance if more extensive repairs are needed. Residents are encouraged to report outages and monitor updates from their utility provider as work continues.
