‘Narrows’ section of Riverside Drive closed in Lower Saucon | Bethlehem Area

L. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Crews in Lower Saucon Township were still cleaning up storm debris Wednesday morning.

There, the one-way section of Riverside Drive known as the “Narrows” is closed due to a mudslide from heavy rains.

Video from the scene shows the mudslide covered not only the road but also the train tracks.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says to expect the roadway to be closed until later Wednesday afternoon.
