Officials believe the man was shot in an incident that happened less than a block away from the hospital.
According to police, at about 3 a.m., a man walked into a hospital in Philly’s Frankford neighborhood after he had been shot twice in the chest.
The man was placed in critical condition, officials said.
Police believe he was injured in a shooting that happened along the 5000 block of Griscom Street shortly before he arrived at the medical facility.
No arrest has been made in this incident and no motive has yet been detailed by police, but, officials said an investigation is ongoing.
