ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Allentown police confirm that a residence was struck by gunfire early Saturday morning. 

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Tacoma and Tremont streets at approximately 1:41 a.m. in the morning, the press release says. 

Officials say that upon arrival officers determined that a residence was struck by gunfire. 

Neighbors we spoke with said they heard multiple shots around 1:30 a.m. also on Saturday morning.

Evidence of the shooting was located, according to police. 

Officials say there were no injuries. 

This investigation is active and ongoing.
