LeBron James sets jersey sales record with the Philadelphia 76ers
LeBron James has broken a jersey sales record just days after joining the Philadelphia 76ers.
James’ No. 23 jersey with the team broke Fanatics’ record for the most jerseys sold in the first 48 hours after a player joins a team in any sport, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The previous record was held by Shohei Ohtani after he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2023.
The exact number of jersey sales was not released.
James signed a two-year deal with the Sixers last week.
