WEST PITTSTON — 1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo American Legion Post 542 held the annual Vettes for Vets fundraiser on Sunday, June 14, at Agolino’s Restaurant parking lots where proceeds from the show went to various organizations.
“This year’s car show as a success and would like to thank Corvette owners, advertisers, and patrons who support us every year,” Ron Gitkos, Post 542 commander, said. “A special thank you goes out to the Agolino family for allowing us to utilize their packing lots each year for the car show.”
According to Gitkos, money from the car show were distributed to the VA Medical Center, the Gino Merli Center Veterans’ Home, Boy Scouts Troops, food pantries, First Responders, Tunnel to Towers, and the PA Wounded Warriors.
“1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo American Legion Post 542 members are all on duty to serve our fellow veterans and community organizations.” Gitkos added.
