The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority will be hosting its 8th annual “Stuff the Bus.” The toy drive will benefit the Toys for Tots of Erie County. The event will take place on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Millcreek Mall Plaza by Primanti Brothers.

This event is a stable for EMTA according to Sarah Morrison, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Each year the bus has been filled with hundreds of toys because of the generosity of those who donate year after year.

The company encourages any supporters to donate new, unwrapped, nonviolent toys. Any donations will directly benefit the Toys for Tots of Erie County.

iHeart Media will be supplying on-air talent and music for the entirety of the event. Anyone who donates to the drive might receive ticket vouchers to a regular Erie Otters regular season home game while supplies last.

A Bayliner Trolley courtesy of EMTA will be placed at the Millcreek Mall to collect donations. All donations can be dropped off at the EMTA administration office. The organization will take donations from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday starting Nov. 5 through Dec. 4.

In the last holiday season, the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots of Erie County distributed 17,538 toys that supported 3,174 children.

This community wide effort helps to make the holiday season special for children in the Erie area.
