VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) —In recent reports and court records, three unrelated incidents were detailed including a suspected DUI, an alleged assault, and a trespassing charge filed in Venango County.
West Hickory Man Suspected of DUI
A Forest County man is under investigation for allegedly driving under the influence after troopers initiated a traffic stop at approximately 6:27 p.m. on July 25 along Route 62 in Hickory Township, Forest County.
Police said the operator, a 62-year-old West Hickory man, was determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol. The investigation remains ongoing in this case, according to troopers.
Assault Reported at Abraxas
Pennsylvania State Police are also investigating an incident at the Abraxas treatment facility in Forest County.
According to PSP Marienville, troopers responded to Abraxas Road in Howe Township at approximately 11:28 p.m. on July 15.
Police said two cases workers were assaulted by a client. According to the report, one case worker was struck in the face with a closed fist multiple times, while the other was trampled. The first victim was treated at Clarion Hospital for a suspected concussion. The other victim refused treatment.
Charges are pending.
Trespassing Charges Filed in Cherrytree Township
A Titusville man is facing a trespassing charge following an investigation by Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin.
According to court records, 26-year-old Zachery Steven Daly, of Titusville, has been charged with defiant trespass following an alleged incident reported July 22 in Cherrytree Township, Venango County.
Court records show the charges were filed on July 28 in Magisterial District Judge Andrew Fish’s office, and the case is awaiting a plea.
