Officials announced the 2026 Hall of Honor inductees at an event at the Fred Rogers Institute on Saint Vincent’s campus, where the Steelers have begun training camp.
This year, the Steelers’ Hall of Honor will welcome former general manager Kevin Colbert, defensive back J.T. Thomas, and former player and commentator Craig Wolfley.
Colbert served 12 seasons as general manager with the Steelers and helped build two Super Bowl championship teams (XL and XLIII).
Thomas played in 116 regular-season games over an eight-year career with the team. He is a four-time Super Bowl champion.
Wolfey spent 10 years with the team and played 129 games. He then served as the Steelers TV/Radio analyst for 23 years from 2002 to 2024.
The 2026 Steelers Hall of Honor Induction ceremony will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, at Acrisure Stadium, the weekend the Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals.
Each inductee, the release said, “will receive a replica of a solid steel football, which will replicate the original that was given to Steelers’ founder Arthur J. Rooney Sr. by the United States Steel Corporation and United Steel Workers in 1982 on the team’s 50th season.”
According to the release, the Hall of Honor was established in 2017. It is comprised of former players, coaches, and front office staff who played an important role in sustaining the franchise’s success.
