24-year-old motorcyclist dies following crash in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County
HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A 24-year-old man has died after officials said he lost control and crashed his motorcycle in Westmoreland County late Friday night.

The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office said in a release that Rylie Hillegas, 24, was riding his motorcycle along Baughman Hollow Road when he went off the road and hit a guardrail.
Officials said Hillegas lost control while traveling around a bend.
He was taken to Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, where he later died.
The coroner’s office said a helmet was not used at the time of the crash. A cause and manner of death are pending autopsy and toxicology results.
