Bicyclist seriously injured after being hit by vehicle at North Park in Allegheny County
ALLISON PARK, Pa. —
A bicyclist is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in North Park Saturday afternoon.
Allegheny County police said they were notified of a bicyclist and vehicle crash around 12:33 p.m. along Pearce Mill Road in North Park.
Officials said an adult man who was riding his bike was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Preliminary information showed the bicyclist was traveling south on Pierce Mill Road towards the North Park Boathouse, and the vehicle was traveling north and turning left into the boathouse entrance road when the crash occurred.
Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
Officials have since urged people to avoid the area as an investigation continues.
