BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Earlier, reporter Kevin Zipay put out a call for you all to share your Musikfest mugs to see if any of you have mugs older than 1996, and you delivered!
Cheryl sent in this mug from 1989 – a simple plastic one with three instruments on it.
Steve also has a 1989 mug that looks a bit more like the ones we see around today.
And Sharon has this one from 1995, beating the one we saw today by one year.
However — the oldest submissions come from Mark!
Mark has this pitcher he says is from Musikfest 1985! He also has this mug from the same year that’s seen better days — though you can just see the Moravian star remaining on the top.
Thankfully – Deb also seems to have that mug! In much better condition so we can see it in all its glory.
