Sweet Partnership: Sarris Candies, 84 Lumber build the Sawdust Sundae
CANONSBURG, Pa. —
Two local, family-owned companies are joining forces to release a new sweet treat that will only be available this month.

Sarris Candies said in a Facebook post that the candy company and 84 Lumber are partnering to release a limited-edition sundae. The new sweet treat will be released in celebration of 84 Lumber’s 70th anniversary.
On Tuesday, August 4, the Sawdust Sundae will be born.
It features two scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with rich cookie butter sauce, crushed Biscoff cookies, whipped cream, maraschino cherry, and a whole Biscoff cookie.
“Each sundae will be served inside a keepsake 84 Lumber mini bucket, making this one sweet build you can take home with you,” Sarris said.
The post said the first 70 Sawdust Sundaes ordered will be free, courtesy of 84 Lumber.
The sundae will only be available at Sarris Candies’ Ice Cream Parlor through August, while supplies last.
