BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – Organizers say the Berks Jazz Fest is entering a new era.
Event organizers say a new management organization, called Berks Jazz Fest, has been established to keep the festival going.
The announcement comes days after the Berks Arts Council said it will end operations after 55 years.
The council supported the festival and other programs in addition to arts education and advocacy.
According to the organization, the 36th Berks Jazz Fest is planned for April 1st-11th.
