BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – TV, cable, and internet service has been restored on Tuesday morning following a widespread outage that has been affecting customers for over a week.
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, service has been reinstated for the vast majority of affected customers, according to the company.
Service Electric Cablevision shared a statement on its website, citing the cause of the outage as a network and database issue.
The company additionally shared information on how to restart equipment if customers are still without internet.
“If you are still experiencing an interruption, please power cycle your equipment by unplugging it for approximately 30 seconds and then reconnecting it,” the statement reads.
Service Electric Cablevision sincerely apologized to all of its customers who were affected, urging customers to contact them if they remain without service.
“If service is not restored after a power cycle, please contact your local call center for assistance,” the statement says.
