Kennywood to close early Sunday due to weather, park says

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. —

Kennywood Park said it will be closing early Sunday due to inclement weather.

The park shared a post online, saying it will close at 6 p.m. as heavy rainfall is expected to continue throughout the evening.

Officials said the park will reopen at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 3.

“The rainy day guarantee has been activated, and return tickets will be distributed to guests exiting the park,” Kennywood said.
