Bethlehem man dies days after being hit by vehicle, coroner says | Bethlehem Area

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A Bethlehem man died Sunday, days after being hit by a vehicle in the city.

Richard Burne, 58, was pronounced dead early Sunday at a local hospital, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said in a news release.

The coroner’s office said the cause of death is complications of blunt force trauma, and the manner of death is accident.

The vehicle hit Burne shortly after 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the 1800 block of Stefko Boulevard, the coroner’s office said.

In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the City of Bethlehem Police Department is also investigating the incident.
