St. Ann’s Basilica in Scranton hosted its 12th annual car show and chicken barbecue featuring cars, food, music, and raffles.
SCRANTON, Pa. — The 12th annual car show and chicken barbecue at St. Ann’s Basilica and Parish in Scranton welcomed gearheads free of charge.
Folks could grab dinner for $15 a piece.
Organizers say the dreary weather didn’t stop people from coming out and supporting.
“For a cloudy day, that’s fantastic because these people don’t want to bring their jewels out when it’s rainy and damp and so on, but like I said, they’re dedicated, they’re here, we appreciate it,” said Bill Tonti.
The event in Scranton also featured music, vendors, raffles and more than 50 gift baskets.
