Rainy weather may have kept some people indoors on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to stop the music at the Erie Blues & Jazz Festival.
Music lovers still made their way to Frontier Park throughout the day, taking advantage of breaks in the rain to enjoy performances by local and regional jazz musicians and bands.
The two-day festival wrapped up Sunday evening with performances continuing into the night.
For more than 30 years, the Erie Blues & Jazz Festival has been a summertime tradition, growing from a single stage into a three-stage event that fills Frontier Park along West Sixth Street with live music.
Despite the wet conditions, festivalgoers and performers proved that a little rain couldn’t put a damper on one of Erie’s favorite annual celebrations.
