Police: Girls, ages 1 and 3, found alive after spending days in Wilkinsburg home with bodies of 2 adults
WILKINSBURG, Pa. —
Two young children were found in an Allegheny County home where investigators discovered the bodies of two adults.
The Wilkinsburg Police Department responded to reports of two people dead inside of a home on Franklin Avenue Monday.
Inside the home, first responders discovered the body of 41-year-old Lamont Dunlap and an 31-year-old Lamara Baldwin. Officials say there was no obvious sign of trauma to either the man or the woman.
It is believed the two adults in the home had been dead since Friday.
In addition to the two adults, authorities say they found two young girls, ages 3 and 1. The children were taken to a hospital before being released to Allegheny County Children, Youth and Families.
The cause and manner of the two deaths is under investigation.
