READING, Pa. – A lonely pup has found his forever home, thanks to some dedicated readers at the Reading Public Library.
Organizers say the fourth annual “Pages for Pets” was a big success.
The initiative challenges readers of all ages to work together to complete 500,000 minutes of Reading.
Once that goal is reached, a lucky pup gets their adoption fee paid for.
This year, that pup was 1-year-old Barkley, a corgi.
