(WJET/WFXP) – The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) announces its 8th annual Stuff the Bus event, benefitting Erie County’s Toys for Tots.

People who want to support are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped and nonviolent toys.

Those who donate may receive ticket vouchers to an Erie Otters home game during the regular season, while supplies last.

In an EMTA press release, Sarah Morrison, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, said, “Stuff the Bus is a staple event for EMTA. We have successfully been able to Stuff the Bus with hundreds of toys thanks to the generosity of those who donate year after year.”

In the 2024 holiday season, the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots distributed over 17,000 toys and supported over 3,000 children.

The event will take place on Friday, December 5, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Bayliner Trolley will be parked in the Millcreek Mall Plaza, near Primanti Brothers.
