The next generation of business leaders got some inspiration Wednesday at Entrepreneur Camp at the TekRidge Enterprise Center in Jessup. The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce and Entrepreneur divisions, Skills in Scranton and IGNITE hosted the event and welcomed more than 30 Lackawanna County middle school students to the two-day event. The interactive camp introduced students to entrepreneurship through hands-on activities, mentorship from local business owners and the opportunity to develop and present their own business ideas. Students learned directly from local entrepreneurs; built a business concept and developed a business plan; and pitched their ideas to a panel at the end. The program was sponsored by the Lackawanna County Workforce Development Board through the Business Education Partnership Grant.
