White Cap has opened a new Enterprise Distribution Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, expanding its logistics network with a nearly 481,000-square-foot facility designed to strengthen product availability and delivery speed for professional contractors across the Eastern United States.
The Bethlehem facility marks the distributor’s second Enterprise Distribution Center and its first serving the eastern region, representing a significant investment in the company’s national supply chain infrastructure. White Cap said the new operation will improve its ability to deliver specialty construction supplies and safety products to customers across some of the country’s most active construction markets.
Company executives, employees, customers, and community leaders celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in partnership with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event included remarks from White Cap leadership and local officials, along with facility tours and a community reception.
As part of the grand opening, White Cap donated a combined $10,000 to two local emergency response organizations, presenting $5,000 each to the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company and the Upper Nazareth Fire Department in support of their public safety efforts.
The investment reflects continued demand for faster, more resilient distribution networks across the construction supply industry. As contractors face tighter project schedules, labor shortages, and ongoing supply chain challenges, distributors are expanding regional fulfillment capabilities to improve inventory availability and reduce delivery times for critical jobsite materials.

The distribution center currently serves 67 White Cap branches across 13 states, supporting major metropolitan areas including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. By positioning inventory closer to customers throughout the Northeast, the company expects to improve order fulfillment and enhance service levels across its branch network.
Tracy Rosser, White Cap’s chief supply chain officer, said the new facility strengthens the company’s ability to support large-scale construction and infrastructure activity throughout the region.

The Bethlehem operation currently employs 66 associates, with staffing expected to increase to more than 70 as distribution activities continue to expand. The additional jobs further reinforce the facility’s economic impact within the Lehigh Valley, which has emerged as an important logistics and distribution hub due to its proximity to major Northeast population centers and transportation corridors.
White Cap supplies specialty construction materials and safety products to contractors serving non-residential, infrastructure, and residential construction markets. Its product portfolio includes concrete accessories and chemicals, tools and equipment, fasteners, building materials, erosion control products, waterproofing systems, and personal protective equipment.
