MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — A second-alarm house fire with heavy fire conditions shut down a stretch of Main Street in Moosic in Lackawanna County early Thursday morning.
Main Street was closed in both directions between North 3rd Street and Dupont Street as crews worked the structure fire at 614-616 Main St. Utilities were cut.
Neighbors reported the owners were out of the area.
Drivers were advised to use detours. From the north, traffic was being routed from North 3rd Street to Old Forge. From the south, the detour ran from Spring Street to U.S. 12 Birney Avenue.
