Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network and its IT vendor IntraSystems LLC must face several claims of a proposed class action alleging they negligently failed to protect the personal information of around 294,000 patients that was exposed in a 2024 data breach.
The plaintiffs alleged injury-in-fact sufficient to confer standing and adequately pleaded claims against Allegheny Health of negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of implied contract, unjust enrichment, and declaratory judgment, Judge J.
