Work on bridge in Lower Saucon will not be done before start of school year due to bridge deck beam delivery delay | Bethlehem Area

L. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Work on the Black River Road Bridge in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County will not be completed before the start of the school year.

PennDOT told the township there is a delay in the production and delivery of the bridge deck beams, the township said in a Facebook post.

The township said it would share any updates PennDOT provides with its residents.

“We understand this may impact travel plans and appreciate everyone’s patience as work continues,” the township said in the post.
