Backpacks and school supplies were handed out Friday to students in the Exeter and Antietam school districts at the Reformation Lutheran Church parish hall, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township.
Over the past two months, the church and other organizations in the districts collected school supplies and book bags for students in need. Volunteers on Monday filled 330 backpacks with items including crayons, highlighters, glue sticks, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and pencil boxes.
