Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian home east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, smashing its windows.
Separately, Israeli forces established military checkpoints east and west of Bethlehem, where they stopped and searched Palestinian vehicles and checked passengers’ identification documents, Al Jazeera reports.
Israel’s continued presence in the occupied Palestinian territory is unlawful under international law, according to a previous ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
