An 89-year-old woman was pronounced dead Friday, one week after the car she was in crashed into a retention pond near Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County.
Jeanette Radzikowski of Dickson City was pronounced dead Friday, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. The cause of death is complications of blunt forceinjuries, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, who ruled her death an accident.
The crash occurred July 29, at approximately 3:47 pm. Radzikowski was the passenger of a vehicle that left the road and plunged into the water outside the casino in Paradise Township.
The driver of the car, John Radzikowski Jr., 82, of Dickson City, was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
