Storms have ended across south-central Pennsylvania, and we’ll see some clearing overnight. Areas of fog will develop, and it will be muggy, with temperatures in the low 70s.
IMPACT DAY TUESDAY:
We’re in for another round of scattered thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening, although the storms may not be as widespread or as strong as today. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the Susquehanna Valley under a marginal risk, or very low risk, of severe weather Tuesday. Storms could produce damaging wind gusts as the main threat, along with heavy rain, which could lead to isolated flash flooding. Highs will reach the mid-to-upper 80s.
Wednesday will feature a few showers and thunderstorms, mainly early in the day. It will still be warm and humid, with highs in the mid-80s.
A cold front will move south Thursday, leading to isolated thunderstorms and lower humidity for the end of the week. Highs will reach the mid-80s Thursday, and it will be sticky.
You’ll feel the lower humidity Friday and Saturday. Dry weather is expected at the end of the week, before another cold front approaches Sunday. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms Sunday, followed by pleasant temperatures and lower humidity early next week.
