Wendy R. Evans Raymer
OBITUARY
Wendy R. Evans Raymer, of West Scranton, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Raymer.
Born in Scranton, Wendy was the daughter of the late Earl and Arlene Brister Evans. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and worked for many years as a clerk in the retail industry.
Wendy is survived by her two sons, Brian Raymer and his wife, Katie, of Scranton, and Eric Raymer and significant other, Robin of Scranton; her two daughters, Shawna Floss and husband Ed, of Scranton, and Robin Pappas and husband, Brian, of Peckville; her sister, Sharon Hulse and husband Daniel of Lake Ariel; as well as 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Wendy was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Evans.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. A blessing service, officiated by Pastor Daniel Hulse, will begin at noon.
Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
