The Erie County Arts & Music Festival, set for August 23, at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Wattsburg Pennsylvania will be a continuation America 250 celebrations.
The festival will celebrate local arts, music from Wicked Goose and Hot Mess, and community engagement while serving as a key gathering as Erie County continues its America250PA activities. All events are free and open to the public.
Organizers will be maintaining previously established partnerships for the new event, including recognizing Erie News Now as the exclusive media sponsor and presenting sponsor of the Erie County Arts & Music Festival.
A centerpiece of the festival will be the creation of an Erie County Time Capsule, designed to preserve items and memories that reflect the county’s history and culture for future generations.
One random Erie County resident will be chosen by Erie News Now and have the opportunity to contribute a personal item to be included in the time capsule.
