Pittsburgh: Rain could Impact Steelers preseason game
Isolated showers and storms will develop Thursday afternoon and evening.
PITTSBURGH —
After a few showers and storms Wednesday night, more showers and storms pop Thursday afternoon and evening, prompting an Impact Day for potential impacts during the Steelers game.
Impact Day Thursday
The stalled set-up finally gets a push on Thursday. Isolated showers and storms are possible during the afternoon, which could impact tailgaters ahead of the Steelers’ preseason game. Showers still linger into the first half of the day on Friday otherwise we dry out to start the weekend.
At most, a delay is possible for the first Steelers preseason game at home.
Showers will continue on Friday, but they will be isolated in nature. We will dry out late and enjoy a break from the rain to start the weekend.
Active pattern ends and humidity drops
The non-stop daily rain and storms will finally end ahead of the weekend. Humidity levels will drop too with almost a fall feel on Saturday morning. Although most of the weekend is dry, a cold front will bring a few showers/isolated storms to the region on Sunday. Those shower and storm chances will continue into Monday before we dry out again for the middle of next week.
Not completely dry, but we aren’t as wet as we have been heading into the weekend and next week.
