BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bensalem Township Police Department is often touted as one of the best in Bucks County. Now it has the certificate to back it up.

The police department has completed its reaccreditation with the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC).

Bensalem Police received its accreditation certificate, which is valid for another four years.

Bensalem Police have been accredited through PLEAC since 2014.

Accreditation is a progressive and time-proven method that enables police to evaluate and improve its overall performance by establishing a clear set of standards.
