BANGOR, Pa. – A tasty business known for its fresh baked goods and handcrafted drinks is making moves in Northampton County.
Latte Lounge & Bake Shoppe, offering freshly prepared baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, specialty beverages and more, on Sept. 26 will host a grand opening of its new location at 15 Broadway in Bangor, owner Seana Sapunarich told 69 News.

Sapunarich previously ran a brick-and-mortar location of Latte Lounge & Bake Shoppe at 690 Allegheny Road in Upper Mount Bethel Township, but she recently moved her business out of that spot after a few months of operating at the site.
The move was primarily prompted by a rent increase at the Allegheny Road location, Sapunarich said.
“The Bangor location’s going to be bigger and better, and we’re so excited for it,” Sapunarich said.
Latte Lounge & Bake Shoppe’s new location will operate on the ground floor of the former Bangor Trust Co. building, a historic borough building dating back to the early 1900s.
At its new location, Latte Lounge & Bake Shoppe will feature seating for around 30 guests at a counter along with dining tables with chairs and banquettes, Sapunarich said.
There also will be a lounge area with couches.
Sapunarich, of Bangor, established Latte Lounge & Bake Shoppe in 2024 as a mobile operation, selling her baked goods at local festivals, holiday celebrations and other community events while also accepting custom orders for cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other treats.
She credits her passion for baking to her late mother, who baked alongside her for many years, passing down several long-held family recipes along the way.

“I baked with my mom ever since I was little,” Sapunarich said.
“It was something that she loved doing, and she always wanted to open a bake shop of her own, but she sadly passed away from cancer. So, I decided that I was going to make it kind of a side hustle, and that eventually became an everyday operation.”
In Bangor, Sapunarich plans to offer a wide array of baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, breads and bagels. Gluten-free options also will be available.
With advance notice, she also will continue accepting custom orders for birthday, baby shower and other special occasion cakes.

Individuals can choose from various flavors, fillings and icing selections, and Sapunarich also can prepare custom cookies, cupcakes and other treats.
Additionally, Latte Lounge & Bake Shoppe’s new location will offer a variety of beverages, including drip coffee, hot and iced teas, specialty coffee drinks such as cappuccino and lattes, and seasonal options such as a berry sangria refresher, strawberry iced matcha, and blueberry pancake macchiato.
Guests also will be able to enjoy breakfast items such as egg sandwiches and light lunch options such as chicken salad sandwiches, Sapunarich said.
Hours for the new Bangor location are still being finalized, but Sapunarich’s tentative plan is to operate the location at least six days a week.
“We’re not yet sure if we’re going to be open Mondays,” she added.
