Pennsylvania township sued over planned data center project
UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A data center developer has filed a lawsuit against a Pennsylvania township over a proposed project.
MLP Ventures has sued Upper Merion Township, its board of supervisors, and its planning commission, seeking an extension related to the review of its application to build more than 4 million square feet of data centers across five locations in Upper Merion and West Conshohocken.
A Montgomery County judge issued an injunction this week, preventing the township from taking any further action on the applications until a court hearing is held.
