The Meadville City Council is seeking applicants to fill various vacancies and reappointments on City Authorities, Boards, and Commissions.
The city as 14 different Authorities, Boards, Commissions that have all been operated by volunteers. These volunteers provide assistance to City Staff and City Council. Volunteers have assisted in an advisory capacity and provide invaluable insight and knowledge within certain areas of expertise.
Anyone interested in applying to one of the vacancies that are listed below should complete an Application to Serve and return it to the City Clerk’s Office in person or via email to dboca@cityofmeadville.org by 4 p.m. by Friday Nov. 21, 2025.
The applications are available for download or can be found as a hard copy at the Office of the City Clerk located at the City Building, 894 Diamond Park from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

· Meadville Area Housing Authority – 1 Appointment
· Meadville Area Recreation Authority – 1 Appointment

· Meadville Market Authority – 2 Appointments
· Planning Commission – 1 Appointment
· Zoning Hearing Board, Alternate – 1 Appointment
