The westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between the Downingtown and Morgantown interchanges will be closed from midnight Sunday until 5 a.m.
The closure between Exit 312 and Exit 298 is necessary for bridge work around milepost 304.4.
Eastbound traffic will be able to proceed normally through the corridor.
The following detour will be in place for westbound traffic at Downingtown: Route 100 north, 9 miles; Route 23 west, 12.4 miles; Route 10 north, 1 mile; reenter the turnpike at the Morgantown interchange.
State police and turnpike personnel will be in the area assist drivers. Signs will also provide information on this closure. The work is subject to change based on weather conditions.
